Terms and conditions
The Scottish weather can be both unpredictable and severe at any time of year. If your trip is adversely affected by the conditions and i will have to cancel your trip, then you will be offered either a full refund, or a similar activity on different dates.
Insurance
Wild360 is covered by public liability insurance.
We recommend that clients consider taking out appropriate insurance to safeguard against risks such as theft, accident, the cost of cancelling a holiday. A travel insurance policy protects you and your expedition arrangements from the unexpected before and during your trip. It is your responsibility to make sure you have adequate cover and we are not able to offer advice on insurance. However, we recommend your policy should include cover for emergency medical costs, cancellation or curtailment of your trip, personal belongings/baggage and personal liability.
Safety
The safety of the individual and group is always of primary concern. Wild360 has taken all reasonable steps to provide you with a level of care and assurances of safety appropriate to the nature of the activities on offer, however you should be aware that certain inherent risks remain which are integral to adventurous activities which cannot be eliminated without destroying their unique character and integrity.
Your responsibility
It is a fundamental booking condition that you accept the risks involved in paddling on water. You must have a level of fitness required for your chosen trip and you are responsible for bringing the appropriate equipment.
In order to protect the well-being of all individuals concerned, it is your responsibility to inform Wild360 of any special dietary, medical and physical needs that you may have.
The activities stated itinerary is indicative only and not a guarantee that a particular route will be followed or place reached. You must acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results, such as inconvenience and discomfort, are possible where unforeseen circumstances arise.
If in the opinion of the Wild360 your health, conduct, behaviour, fitness or equipment may compromise the safety of a trip, or if it could negatively impact on other members of the group or public, we reserve the right to cancel or terminate your trip.
You will be responsible for the cost of repairs to any damage to Wild360 equipment that you borrow or use during your expedition, outside of normal wear and tear.
Photography & Social Media
Photographs and videos may be taken by Wild360 during your experience for marketing purposes. These may be uploaded to our social media sites, our website and used for other marketing purposes. We retain the anonymity of our clients and never identify a group or person by their name. If you do not wish to appear in these photographs or videos please let Emmaus Adventure know in advance. We will also always ask permission before any photographs or filming is made at the time.
Gear hire
Wild360 is not responsible for the use of the equipment. We only provide equipment to be used under the skills and abilities of the hirer, we require no proof of ability and offer no advice or instruction in the use of the equipment and how they are to be used.
I acknowledge that packrafting is an activity with inherent risks of injury to persons and property. I am aware of those risks and understand them. Wild360 requires all hirers to wear a Buoyancy Aid at all times while on the water. I understand the dangers of paddling on tidal or still water and understand that weather can play a factor in paddling safety and that such activities are subject to the unpredictable forces of nature.
I agree to return the items on the stated day in the condition in which I received them. Any damaged equipment will be charged for at full retail price for replacement or repair if deemed appropriate, regardless of how damage was caused.
Wild360 acts in good will when hiring out equipment and as such expects such from the hirer. We reserve the right to withdraw and collect our equipment at any point and for any reason during a hire period.
The hirer is satisfied with the serviceable condition of the equipment.
No instruction or advice has been sought or given from Wild360 on the use or location best suited to the hirer’s group.
